“ The decor in here is absolutely stunning, we love the tropical vibes! The building is two stories with an upstairs and downstairs patio. They have an array of cocktails, my favorite is the orange crush which they hand squeeze. The menu features entrees with a bit of Asian flair. ”

“ As locals, my husband and I have been so excited to try this place and it did not disappoint!! We sat upstairs on the patio and the ambiance was perfect. Though if you get cold easily I'd bring a coat! The menu is diverse enough that most people should be able to find something yummy to try. I appreciated the well labeled menu regarding allergies and our server was quick to specify gluten friendly versus gluten free. My husband loved his swordfish dish and I really enjoyed the wings and empanadas. Drinks were fantastic, too!! Prices were a little steep to make it a weekly occurrence but at least you are getting what you pay for! Can't wait to go back! ”

“ Up scale beach vibe! We sat outside and the views were great. We had drinks and appetizers ( crinkle fries with sauce). We did not have dinner, Up stairs in pens at 5:00 and it looks lukewarm the place to sit! Great views there too! ”

“ Big Chill Island House is a fun spot in the Barefoot Landing Entertainment district. I could see BCIH becoming quite an evening destination for live music and cocktails. The atmosphere was North Myrtle Beach casual. Our food was pretty good, and the service was super fast & friendly. I perceive this as more of a nightspot rather than a *great* restaurant. ”

“ We went on a Wednesday night in early June, around 6:15pm. The wait was said to be 45 minutes but we only 10 and got an awesome table upstairs outside looking over the intercostal waterway, it was awesome with sunset starting. The rush seemed to be early (say between 5-6pm) as the place was much more empty when we were leaving then when we arrived . This is a great new addition to Barefoot landing. There are many different rooms and decor everywhere. I kid you not they have instagram opportunities on every wall. Now to the food, great options, a multitude of salads and cool unique dishes like Birria Beef Ramen, Tuna Nikkei Ceviche, Rum Hot Honey Wings, Street Corn Salad, Banana Leaf Mahi Mahi and many other options that sound oooo so scrumptious. I choose to get the Hawaiian Kalua Pork, which is described this way: pork cooked slow in a banana leaf, served with grilled pineapple, pasta salad & a Hawaiian roll. It's $22 and was incredible, the taste was great and loved the combo of the pasta salad and pineapple it lead to some really cool combinations of flavor. I want it again just thinking about it. The service was great and they have a really good kids menu too. Come and chill and just get a drink and some shareables or order of the meal menu, you won't be disappointed, this is a win and well worth the wait. ”
